Alex Nogués es escritor y geólogo especializado en aguas subterráneas y paleontología. A los 12 años encontró su primer fósil. Años después, identificó un fósil de un organismo desconocido llamado Alexina papyracea en su honor.

En la actualidad Alex lleva escritos alrededor de dieciséis libros.

Ángeles Quinteros es licenciada en Literatura y Linguística Hispanoamericana, ha hecho un máster en Edición de libros en la Universidad Diego Portales-Pompeu Fabra, y un máster en Literatura Infantil y Juvenil en la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.

Ha sido antologadora de libros infantiles y juveniles, profesora de posgrado de Literatura infantil y juvenil y de edición de libros.

Actualmente, trabaja en proyectos editoriales de libros para niños y niñas.

Formada en la Escuela EINA en ilustración infantil y juvenil, es autora e ilustradora de historias que exploran las emociones y la vida cotidiana.

Observadora incansable del comportamiento humano, impregna su obra de una mirada ingenua y asombrada que conecta con lectores de todas las edades.

Naida Mazzenga

Naida Mazzenga is an Italian freelance illustrator settled in Barcelona where she currently lives and works. Naida loves travelling and getting lost, seeing new worlds and learning about new perspectives. A recurring theme in her drawings is nature and plants, which help her to create imaginary and fantastic worlds. The use of bright colours is a feature of her work, influenced by her passion and practice in risograph printing.

José Manuel Vidal-Cordero

José Manuel Vidal-Cordero holds a PhD in Biology and a Master’s degree in Conservation, Management and Restoration of Biodiversity from the University of Granada. As a multidisciplinary zoologist specialized in entomology, he has worked with a wide range of animal groups —including ants, beetles, spiders, dragonflies, and pollinators — conducting monitoring, behavioral, and ecological studies. His main focus combines research, education, and science communication, all oriented towards biodiversity conservation.

Mireia Aleu

Mireia Aleu is a Barcelona-based artist that has been drawing since childhood characters, people, scenes, all the things around her that gives her inspiration.

An alumni of Barcelona’s University School of Design and Art in Children’s and YA illustration, Mireia is a prolific author and illustrator who is constantly crafting stories based on the themes of selfacceptance, emotions and destiny. She loves observing people’s behaviours and uses her child-like sense of wonder throughout her work.

Julio Fuentes

Julio Fuentes studied Illustration at the EASD of Illes Balears and later earned a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona. He has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer on numerous projects. His most recent published titles include 50 libros que me han cambiado la vida by Llucia Ramis, La cocina es tuya by Aizpea Oihadeder, Piratas by Charles Johnson, and the annual planners for Blackie Books, for which he was awarded the 2020 Junceda Illustration Prize.

Arianna Squilloni

Arianna Squilloni studied Latin and Greek philology in Italy. After finishing university, she specialized in publishing and editorial management. She lives in Barcelona since 2002. In 2008 she gave life to her personal project by creating the publishing house A Buen Paso, specialized in illustrated books for children, whether albums, illustrated stories, poetry collections, or non-fiction books.
