Aina Bestard is an illustrator and textile designer. She studied design in Barcelona. She started working mainly in fashion and designed shoes for Camper for over five years. She illustrates children’s books and has created the books What’s Hidden in the Woods?, What’s Hidden in the Sea?, What’s Hidden in the Body?, that have been published in 13 languages and more that 250,000 copies have been printed so far. Her book Lost landscapes of Earth has recently been awarded with the Prix Sorcières, one of the most prestigious in France and the Special Mention of BRAW2021 .
