The word metaphor comes to us from ancient Greek where it meant “transfer”.

Philosophical metaphors have something in common: they transfer a conceptual word to a word of something that can be seen, an image. But something much more important beats in them: a different and revealing light to understand the world that surrounds us, with its colors and shapes.
